X-Factor

X-Factor is a government sponsored mutant team.

History

X-Factor was created by the U.S. Government to help improve human-mutant relations. After Polaris became a member, Iceman and the X-Men were roped in by Forge to fight the team, hoping to bring in some training for them. X-Factor later gathered to watch Fabian Cortez's broadcast from Asteroid M, declaring war on humanity. One of their members, Quicksilver, and his sister Scarlet Witch later found out that their father was Magneto. Forge also helped to repel the Phalanx invasion.
