Reed Richards is also known as the Fantastic Four member, Mister Fantastic.
History[]
Some time in his past, Reed met and fell in love with Susan Storm, later getting married and joining her, his brother-in-law Johnny Storm and his best friend Ben Grimm in an adventure into space to study a strange phenomenon that was passing by Earth. While on their study, the four were bombarded by cosmic rays and they landed back on Earth. Reed found that he could stretch his body into any shape and inspired the other three, who had their own powers, to form the 'Fantastic Four' alongside him. Reed took the name 'Mister Fantastic'.
From his lab in the Baxter Building, Reed has tried time and time again to find a cure for Ben's appearance, which was changed by the cosmic rays into a rocky, orange creature. Reed has fought alongside his teammates in all of their battles and even tried to help Bruce Banner cure himself of the 'Hulk'.
