Kallark is also known as the Shi'ar Imperial Guard leader, Gladiator.
History[]
When Lilandra Neramani was a fugitive of the Shi'ar and travelled to Earth, Gladiator and the rest of the Imperial Guard followed her to arrest her. On Earth, Gladiator encountered Juggernaut and punched him so hard, the villain flew over the Atlantic Ocean. Jean Grey, powered by the Phoenix Force, later defeated Gladiator. When the Shi'ar's then current emporer, D'Ken Neramani, threatened to destroy the universe with the M'Kraan Crystal, Gladiator and the Imperial Guard sided with Lilandra and the X-Men in the effort to defeat him. D'Ken was destroyed, Lilandra became Empress of the Shi'ar and the Imperial Guard entered her service.
When the Phoenix Force became a dangerous entity, Gladiator and the Imperial Guard were tasked with stopping the psychic force. He later returned to the Shi'ar after the threat was ended.
