Julia Carpenter is also known as the super heroine, Spider-Woman.
History[]
It is unknown how Julia managed to get her powers or when she joined Force Works. At some point she also gave birth to Rachel Carpenter. Both Spider-Woman and Scarlet Witch have feelings towards Iron Man, sparking rivalry between the two. At on point, Rachel was kidnapped by Mandarin and The Hand but she was rescued by Iron Man. It once appeared that Julia and tony got married but this was revealed to be a ruse in order to get the Mandarin to stop believing that Tony was Iron Man.
After Force Works disbanded, Julia stayed with Iron Man and fought beside him, entering in a relationship with him. Julia was kidnapped by Madame Masque and also accidentally sent back in time by one of Mandarin's rings. She was rescued by Iron Man and the Hulk. When Mandarin returned, Spider-Woman sided with the reformed Force Works, against the villain.
