Jean grey

Jean Grey is part of the mutant team, the X-Men and the wife of Cyclops.

HistoryEdit

Jean Grey was one of the first X-Men, recruited by Professor X. It was with the X-Men that Jean first met Cyclops and gradually began developing romantic feelings for him. When Scott returned those feelings, the two began a relationship. However, Jean was also the romantic interest of Wolverine but she neglected his advances and eventually married Scott.

Scott and Jean were later abducted by Mister Sinister on their honeymoon but the X-Men saved the pair from the mutant villain. It became known that Jean and Scott's marriage was not legitmate as Morph performed the ceremony in disguise.

Jean later became the host of the alien Phoenix Force and temporarily adopted the alias, Phoenix. However, Mastermind attempted to manipulate her mind but only resulted in the 'Dark Phoenix' emerging. Xavier managed to temporarily psychically trap the Phoenix Force but Empress Lilandra Neramani of the Shi'ar came to apprehend Jean, for the destruction of an uninhabited planet. Jean and the X-Men were forced to fight the Shi'ar Imperial Guard to death, a battle where Jean killed herself. However, the Phoenix Force helped to restore Jean back to life, before flying off into the stars again.

Jean and Scott were later officially married but Jean was again kidnapped by Mister Sinister and the Naughty Boys, who were working for Apocalypse at the time. Apocalypse wanted to use Jean's psychic powers to help him rule over time. Jean was eventually freed by the X-Men Cable and Bishop.
